Forged Fiber 37 Services, LLC seeks a Fiber Tech II - Splicing Technician to install, splice, test, and troubleshoot fiber optic cable across construction, maintenance, and restoration projects in Tacoma, WA.

Candidates should have 2+ years of fiber splicing experience and be proficient with fusion splicer, OTDR, optical power meter, and related tools; ability to work outdoors, lift up to 75 lbs, and perform overtime as needed. Salary ranges are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of fiber splicing/telecom experience or equivalent training.
• Proficiency with fusion splicer, OTDR, optical power meter, fiber identifiers, and inspection scope.

Responsibilities

• Install, splice, test fiber optic cable for construction, maintenance, and restoration projects.
• Troubleshoot fiber faults using OTDR and related tools; document results.
• Prepare splice cases/enclosures and perform mid-span/mid-sheath splices across cable types.
