Job summary

Uniti Group, through its Kinetic unit, seeks a Splicer for the construction team to install and splice fiber optic and copper cables in outdoor and indoor settings. You will manage splicing records, interpret blueprints, and ensure safe, efficient on-site operations.

The role requires travel up to 50%, lifting up to 75 pounds, and a CDL-ready profile. Strong attention to safety and OSHA/DOT standards are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain CDL post-hire.
• DOT certification pre-hire.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• OSHA 10 Hour Safety Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Splice cables using hand tools, epoxy, or mechanical equipment.
• Splice fiber optic and copper cables including loose tube and ribbon optical cables.
• Prepare and maintain splicing records, schematics, and diagrams.
• Interpret staking sheets and blueprints.
• Maintain safety procedures and on-site project oversight.
