Job summary

Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer II in Marlborough, MA to fuse optical fibers, test and activate circuits, and support our expanding telecom network.

You will perform aerial and underground splicing, document work daily, and mentor other splicers. Requirements include at least two years of fiber splicing experience and a valid DOT medical card. We offer strong benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Two years of fiber splicing experience.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuits post-installation.
• Document work daily and maintain accurate material usage records.
• Guide and mentor other splicers as needed.
• Complete basic daily vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
