Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least two years of fiber splicing experience.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Must pass DOT physical exam for medical card.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate and troubleshoot circuits post-installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Document work in daily production reports and map updates.
• Provide guidance to other splicers as needed.
