Communications Construction Group, LLC is seeking a Field Fiber Splicer II in Worcester, MA. You’ll perform splicing to maintain our telecommunication networks and ensure reliable data transmission, working on aerial and underground projects.

This role requires at least two years of fiber splicing experience, a valid DOT medical card, and successful completion of the company's safety training. The position is full-time with 0%-24% field rotation.

Qualifications

• Two years of fiber splicing experience required.
• Must pass DOT physical exam and obtain medical card.
• Authorized to work in the United States for this employer.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards
• Upgrade existing fiber sheaths with new fiber sheaths
• Document work through daily production reports and maps
• Provide guidance to other splicers as needed
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks
