The role requires at least two years of fiber splicing experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid US driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. Training and safety are emphasized in our supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of fiber splicing experience.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam.
• Pole climber certification preferred.
• Knowledge of telecommunications network structure.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot network circuits post-installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade fiber sheaths and mid-sheath fibers as needed.
• Provide guidance to other splicers and document work daily.
• Maintain basic vehicle upkeep and safety checks.
