Job summary

Kanaan Communications, LLC is hiring a Fiber Splicer II in the United States. You will complete the fusion of optical fibers and maintain our telecommunication networks to ensure data travels reliably through a growing network.

The role requires at least two years of fiber splicing experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to pass a DOT physical. You will join a team focused on safety and high-quality network service.

Qualifications

• Must pass a DOT physical exam and obtain a valid medical card.
• Valid US work authorization for the company.
• At least two years of fiber splicing experience.
• 18 years of age or older and a valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade existing fiber sheaths with new fiber sheaths; mid-sheath fibers for entry.
• Provide guidance to other splicers, as needed.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles and document work through daily production reports.
