Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of fiber splicing experience.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Valid State driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical exam for a medical card.
• Must be able to pass DOT requirements and maintain fitness for duty.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot network circuits post-installation.
• Ensure splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade fiber sheaths and mid-sheath fibers for entry on cables.
• Document daily work in production reports and maps.
• Provide guidance to other splicers as needed.
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
