Qualifications

• Two years of fiber splicing experience.
• Must pass DOT medical exam.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Upgrade existing fiber sheaths as needed.
• Document work performed via daily production reports and maps.
• Provide guidance to other splicers as needed.
