Job summary

Globe Communications LLC in Commerce, GA is seeking a Fiber Splicer to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecom network. You will upgrade cables, test circuits, and ensure standards are met while prioritizing safety and reliability.

Requires 6 months of splicing experience or 1 year in telecom, valid driver’s license, and ability to work at heights. We offer weekly pay, PTO, 401(k) with company match, and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Six months of splicing experience or one year in telecommunications.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and obtain a medical card.
• Authorized to work in the United States with a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation.
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards.
• Safely navigate working at heights from underground to aerial locations.
• Document daily work and material usage in reports.
