Job summary

Heartland Tower Solutions is seeking a Splicer - Fiber role in Indiana with travel to Kokomo, Marion, Muncie and Fort Wayne. The position involves safe splicing and upgrading of fiber and coaxial networks, with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Travel is required, with hotel accommodations and a daily per diem provided. The candidate will read plans, assemble and install fiber equipment, maintain records, and work with a crew under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in fiber installation & repair.
• Must possess basic mathematical skills.
• Valid Class A CDL preferred; CDL permit required before starting.
• Must be local or willing to relocate to this area.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform fiber and coaxial splicing and testing.
• Read blueprints and permits; mark-up prints.
• Install and repair fiber lines in trenches or pedestals.
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot equipment after installation.
• Maintain vehicle, inventory, and equipment; coordinate with Foreman.
