TelCom Construction, LLC is seeking a Fiber Splicer to fuse optical fibers and maintain our telecom networks. Your work keeps connections strong and data flowing across our growing systems.

Under guidance you will perform aerial and underground splicing, test and troubleshoot circuits after installation, document daily production reports, and ensure all operations meet industry standards while prioritizing safety at heights and in confined spaces.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older
• Authorized to work in the United States forTelCom Construction, LLC
• High School Diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Must pass DOT physical exam and obtain medical card
• 6 months splicing experience or 1 year telecom industry experience

Responsibilities

• With guidance, perform cable upgrades and splicing tasks, both aerial and underground
• Test, activate, and troubleshoot the network’s circuit post-installation
• Ensure all splicing operations meet customer and industry standards
• Safely navigate working at heights, from underground to in the air
• Complete basic daily maintenance of vehicles, including fluid checks
• Document work performed through daily production reports and map marks and material usage records
• Other duties as assigned
