Job summary

Paragon Alliance Innovation LLC is seeking an On-Site Fiber Field Technician to perform site surveys and assessments for fiber optic service installation. Qualifications

• 2+ years telecom, OSP/ISP, or field inspection experience.
• Basic understanding of fiber networks and telecom infrastructure.
• Ability to read site layouts and document field conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
• Experience with fiber deployments (FTTH, enterprise).
• Familiarity with permitting and utility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess fiber installation readiness.
• Identify and document: DMARC, MPOE/MPOP, and Telco room location.
• Capture site photos and aerial views with proper orientation.
• Complete standardized survey templates and reports.
• Confirm availability of dedicated 120VAC power and proper grounding.
• Verify circuit labeling, isolation, and grounding system compliance.
• Assess Telco room/equipment space for accessibility and environment.
• Evaluate conduit routes and coordination with building management.
• Identify external infrastructure and permitting constraints.
• Deliver clear survey reports with deficiencies and recommendations.
