Job summary

Paragon Alliance Innovation LLC is seeking an on-site Fiber Field Technician to perform site surveys for fiber installation readiness. You will document DMARC, MPOE/MPOP, Telco rooms, and capture site data for engineering and construction teams.

You will verify power, grounding, space, and pathway requirements, evaluating conduit routes and access to ensure a smooth deployment. Strong attention to detail and reporting skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years telecom, OSP/ISP, or field inspection experience.
• Basic understanding of fiber networks and telecom infrastructure.
• Ability to read site layouts and document field conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
• Experience with fiber deployments (FTTH, enterprise).
• Familiarity with permitting and utility coordination.

Responsibilities

• Site Survey & Documentation: Visit customer locations to assess readiness and document DMARC, MPOE/MPOP, and Telco room locations.
• Power & Grounding Verification: Confirm dedicated power, grounded outlets, and proper grounding.
• Equipment Space & Environment: Assess Telco room for space, mounting surfaces, and environmental conditions.
• Pathway & Conduit Assessment: Evaluate routes from entry to equipment and document conduit paths.
• OSP Interface & Access: Identify external infrastructure and fiber entry points and permitting constraints.
• Reporting & Recommendations: Deliver clear survey reports with deficiencies and actionable readiness items.
