Job summary

Intrepid Fiber Networks is seeking a detail-oriented administrator to support construction programs across multiple projects. You will manage contracts, work orders, and closeout documentation, while coordinating with vendors and internal teams to track costs and compliance.

The role requires strong analytical skills, familiarity with telecom deployments, and proficiency in NetSuite, Sitetracker, and Vetro.

Qualifications

• Experience in contract administration or procurement support, preferably within construction or network deployment.
• Experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, business administration, accounting, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience or technical training will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Working knowledge of contracts, work orders, change orders, material tracking, certificates of insurance, bonding documentation, lien waivers, purchase orders, and contractor billing.
• Familiarity with construction closeout requirements, including as-built and redline submittals, punch lists, acceptance packages, retainage release, and warranty documentation.

Responsibilities

• Administers contracts and master service agreements from award through closeout, preparing work orders and packages for execution and tracking.
• Coordinates project closeout with internal teams, contractors, and jurisdictions, and assembles closeout documentation.
• Compiles production and cost data to support forecasts and program performance reporting.
• Issues purchase orders, tracks material orders, and resolves discrepancies with vendors.
• Maintains contract status and open commitments per project for contractors and vendors.
• Maintains project files, cost reports, and budgets to ensure audit readiness and cost accuracy.
• Assists in monthly billing and draw packages, verifications, and retainage coordination.
• Supports month-end and quarter-end close with cost-to-complete forecasting and job-cost coding.
