Job summary

Lyte Fiber is seeking a highly skilled OSP Engineering Permit Specialist to oversee the preparation and acquisition of all necessary permits for fiber optic network construction and maintenance. The role ensures on-time permitting submissions and approvals for underground and aerial work, leveraging PLA and pole-loading analyses as needed.

Ideal candidates will have strong OSP permitting expertise, field engineering understanding, and the ability to plan and forecast in a fast-paced environment;

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 5+ years as a Permit specialist preferred.
• Telecommunications permitting/engineering experience preferred.
• Must travel; valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Lead the permit application process for OSP projects.
• Coordinate with agencies to obtain permits and ensure compliance.
• Prepare and track permit packages; address issues.
• Perform Make-Ready analysis for aerial routes.
• Maintain accurate permit records and schedules.
