Job summary

Lumos is seeking a full-time OSP Construction Supervisor to lead the installation of fiber networks across our service areas. You will manage line crews, splicers, and contract teams to complete projects safely, on time, and within CAPEX budgets.

You will apply NESC knowledge, coordinate with procurement, and ensure permit readiness across multiple sites while upholding Lumos’ commitment to quality and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of technical experience in OSP Engineering, Construction or Operations.
• Previous supervisory experience leading technicians and contractors in telecom.
• Knowledge of National Electric Safety Code (NESC) requirements.
• 2+ years of experience with Federal and local regulations.
• Proven project management skills to manage multiple projects across regions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct OSP crews to meet dates and objectives.
• Enforce safety guidelines on all worksites.
• Ensure compliance with NESC criteria for aerial construction.
• Collaborate with procurement for material forecasting and scheduling.
• Coordinate with contractors for all permit needs.
• Build relationships with local partners.
