Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, telecommunications, information technology, education, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in communications, telecommunications, fiber optics, or related technical industry.
• Demonstrated experience in technical training, instructional delivery, curriculum development, or workforce education preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications preferred, including FOA, ETA, BICSI, or other credentials.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and instructional delivery skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications.
• Demonstrated technical writing and documentation skills.
• Ability to develop instructional materials and communicate technical concepts to varied audiences.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills across diverse audiences.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment with evolving business needs.
• Travel domestically and internationally, approximately 60% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instructor-led and hands-on training covering product applications, installation methods, and fiber optic technologies.
• Conduct company certification programs and support FOA content where applicable.
• Provide technical training support for internal employees and cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate training initiatives with Applications Engineering and other teams.
• Develop schedules, agendas, instructional plans, and training materials.
• Assist in developing customer-specific training programs and content.
• Develop lesson plans, learning objectives, and supporting resources.
• Maintain technical documentation, product guides, and instructional videos.
• Participate in continuous improvement of training effectiveness and curriculum design.
• Support customer implementations through first-time installations and field instruction.
• Provide on-site guidance for product installation and operations.
• Coordinate logistics for training materials and demonstration equipment.
• Maintain records of training activities and certification reporting as required.
• Perform routine inspection and maintenance of training equipment and safety procedures.
