Job summary

Light Brigade in the United States seeks an Instructor to deliver high-quality fiber optic training, manage classroom and equipment setup, and assist with course development. You will engage with students and collaborate with internal teams, customers, and attendees to ensure clear understanding.

Responsibilities include delivering scheduled and custom courses, onboarding instructors, updating course materials, submitting paperwork for billing, and assisting with equipment needs in classrooms,

Qualifications

• Proficiency in fiber optics across basic theory, specialty applications, and testing equipment.
• Ability to convey fiber optic concepts to audiences ranging from complete beginners to highly knowledgeable professionals.
• Able to assess the classroom audience and adjust instruction as needed to ensure topics are understood without overcomplicating the information.
• Able to deliver fiber optic training courses both in-person and in an online virtual classroom.
• Capacity to create, edit, and review educational content for use in presentations and printed materials.

Responsibilities

• Proper delivery of assigned classes, both scheduled and custom/specialty courses.
• Submit paperwork in a timely manner to facilitate billing and class close-outs.
• Onboard new instructors for Light Brigade and Workforce Development programs.
• Update and create course materials in conjunction with the Learning Development team.
• Assist warehouse staff with equipment needs.
