B&F Contracting is seeking a field supervisor to oversee fiber/splice crews in the Phoenix area. The role emphasizes safety leadership, quality control, and effective crew coordination.

You will manage field operations, ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, and maintain productivity in outdoor conditions. The position requires hands-on experience with fiber installation and splicing, strong communication, and the ability to lead teams through variable field conditions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred 2-4 yrs of fiber installation experience.
• Preferred 2-4 yrs of Fiber Splicing process.
• Preferred 2-4 yrs of Testing Fiber using OTDR.
• OSHA 30
• IMSA certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review plans and permits.
• Supervise, train, and develop work crews; assist crews as needed.
• Maintain a safe worksite and enforce safety practices; follow OSHA regulations.
• Ensure materials, equipment, and tools are safely loaded/unloaded and maintained.
• Inspect vehicles for operation and proper stock of materials.
• Report maintenance needs or unsafe conditions.
• Enter crew hours and verify timecards.
• Perform safety inspections and stop unsafe work as needed.
• Monitor quality standards and crew performance.
• Adhere to ethics and compliance requirements.
