Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED with fiber optic installation experience.
• Proficient in single fusion and ribbon splicing, both aerial and underground.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and safety compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair aerial and underground fiber optic cable plant.
• Perform splicing and testing using OTDRs and power meters to verify integrity.
• Document work, including splice records, test results, and restoration activities.
