Job summary

Prince Telecom, LLC is seeking a Technician Fiber Installation to install and maintain fiber optic networks, troubleshoot service issues, and ensure customers receive reliable connectivity. You will install and configure equipment, educate customers on usage, and keep vehicles and gear ready for daily work.

The role requires driving to client sites, willingness to work overtime or on-call shifts, and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

To be 18 years of age or older.
Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines.
Install, setup and configure all equipment.
Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues.
Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement.
Educate the customer regarding product and service usage.
Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment.
Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed.
Perform work in all weather conditions.
Other duties as assigned.
