Job summary

Prince Telecom LLC is seeking a Technician Fiber Installation to install and maintain fiber optic networks, troubleshoot issues, and keep customers connected with minimal downtime across service areas. You will work on-site, in all weather, and may travel or be on-call as needed.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent), 18+ years old, valid State driver's license, and authorization to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
• Valid State drivers license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines.
• Install, setup and configure all equipment
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
