Job summary

Prince Telecom, LLC is seeking a Technician Fiber Installation to set up and maintain fiber optic networks, solve issues, and ensure uninterrupted service.

The role includes installing, configuring equipment, troubleshooting customer-perceived issues, and educating customers on usage. Eligible candidates should be 18+, authorized to work in the US, with a high school diploma or related experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• To be 18 years of age or older.
• Authorization to work in the United States for this company
• High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
• Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Install, disconnect, reconnect, add, change, and troubleshoot fiber optic internet, and telephone based on guidelines
• Install, setup and configure all equipment
• Identify and try to remedy sources of customer-perceived issues
• Review all requested services with the customer in order to ensure understanding and agreement
• Educate the customer regarding product and service usage
• Clean, maintain, and stock vehicle and equipment
• Work overtime, travel, and perform on-call/afterhours responsibilities as needed
• Perform work in all weather conditions
• Other duties as assigned
