Job summary

Frontier Communications is seeking a Fiber Network Field Technician in Camarillo, CA. The role focuses on service order and repair activities along the fiber network, including customer premises installations and hub work.

You will install and maintain voice, data, and video services while ensuring customer satisfaction and achieving revenue-enhancing opportunities. The position requires fiber installation experience, a valid CA driver’s license, and willingness to pass a DOJ background check

Qualifications

• Must possess valid California class “C” driver’s license.
• Fingerprinting and DOJ background screening required.
• Experience with fiber network installation and maintenance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, removes, rearranges, programs, tests, troubleshoots and maintains fiber network services.
• Installs and configures routers and set top boxes; assists with PC software as needed.
• Performs inside and outside fiber equipment work including wiring and jumpers at the hub.
• Interacts with customers to place equipment and trains on new services; ensures customer satisfaction.
