Job summary

Wire 3 is hiring for a Drop Crew in Daytona Beach, FL to install residential and commercial underground coax and fiber lines. The role uses trenching and boring equipment to bury drops, with responsibility for ensuring safe, accurate installations and site restoration.

Candidates should be able to travel as needed, work overtime, and communicate effectively. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required, along with background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Identify located utilities to prevent damage.
• Locate unmarked utilities and customer-owned equipment.
• Restore job sites to original condition after work completion.
• Interpret work drawings and instructions, completing paperwork.
• Review services with customers before installing new drops.
• Operate trenching and boring equipment for burying cable.
• Document tasks timely and accurately.
• Complete assigned tasks efficiently and accurately.
