Job summary

Wire 3 is seeking a Drop Crew member to install residential and commercial underground coax and fiber lines. You will handle trenching, boring, and hand tooling to bury service drops to our customers.

Responsibilities include locating utilities, reviewing service requirements with customers, and maintaining accurate documentation. A valid driver's license and ability to travel are required for this field role with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Completion of background and MVR checks required.

Responsibilities

• Identify located utilities to prevent damage.
• Locate unmarked utilities and customer-owned equipment.
• Restore job sites to their original condition after work completion.
• Interpret work drawings and instructions, completing necessary paperwork.
• Review all services with customers before installing new drops.
• Operate trenching and boring equipment for burial of cable.
• Use handheld units for retrieving and clearing job tasks.
• Complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Document tasks timely and accurately.
• Ensure responsibility for any damages incurred during work.
