Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in outside plant (OSP) construction and/or OSP engineering.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint; and proficient/comfortable with Microsoft Excel to include the development of forms, the use of internal and external hyperlinks, as well as simple functions and their structure (i.e. COUNT, COUNTIF, SUBTOTAL, SUM, etc.).
• Must possess and maintain a validState Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must complete a pre-employment drugscreening.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial and underground inspections and audits of contractors per NESC and Ziply standards.
• Dispatch and supervise contract inspectors and assist with resolving complex issues.
• Train contract personnel in aerial plant inspection methods and field software.
• Develop, trial, and implement new processes and field software for NESC inspections and corrections.
• Coordinate with municipalities on permitting, traffic control, and community impact of OSP work.
• Process vendor invoices within Ziply’s accounting guidelines.
