Job summary

Ziply Fiber is seeking a Construction Project Administrator to oversee outside plant inspection, contractor coordination, and field compliance across OSP construction activities. The CPA will inspect contractor work and guide inspectors to ensure cost, schedule, and quality goals for our customers.

Applicants should have 5+ years in OSP construction/engineering and be proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in outsideplant (OSP) construction and/or OSP engineering.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint; and proficient/comfortable with Microsoft Excel to include the development of forms, the use of internal and external hyperlinks, as well as simple functions and their structure (i.e. COUNT, COUNTIF, SUBTOTAL, SUM, etc.).
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
• Must complete a pre-employment drug screening.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Field inspections of aerial and underground work and audits of contractors in accordance with NESC and Ziply standards.
• Assign and dispatch work to contract inspectors and assist in resolving complex issues.
• Train contract personnel in aerial plant inspection methods and field software applications.
• Develop, trial, and implement new processes and field software for NESC inspections and corrections.
