Job summary

FiOptix is seeking a Full Time Technician in Hatboro, PA to install and service cable/fiber TV, internet, voice, and security products for residential or commercial subscribers. The role involves wiring, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth operation of services.

The technician will work with internal teams, promote customer satisfaction, perform safety procedures, and maintain tools and vehicles, with strong emphasis on accuracy in work orders and documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or related trade school education.
• Ability to utilize small hand tools and various power tools.
• Ability to install complex television and internet equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair cable/fiber TV, voice, and internet systems; including wiring.
• Test cables/fiber according to specs.
• Troubleshoot network issues and repair poles/towers as needed.
• Install cable/fiber support structures and related components.
• Provide education to subscribers on equipment and services.
• Close out work orders with proper codes and documentation.
