Job summary

Rightfiber is seeking an Installer I to install and repair voice, video, and high-speed data services for residential and small/medium business customers. You will work in the field installing copper, coax, and fiber, perform grounding, and troubleshoot service issues.

The role requires one year of telecom installation experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to climb poles and operate a bucket truck.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• One year of telecom installation/repair experience required.
• Experience with copper and HFC networks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install Ritter services including coax, copper, and fiber; identify correct cable pair.
• Ground drops, inside wiring, and station protectors.
• Locate and repair faults in service installations.
• Record readings; localize line trouble and replace drops as needed.
• Assist FTTH and security installations; splice fiber to FTTH.
• Coordinate with Dispatch and other departments to meet standards.
• Travel to customer sites; operate safety equipment and bucket truck.
