Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Buried Drop Technician to perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cables from the network hub to customers' homes.

This role requires the ability to travel overnight and out of state as needed, with a focus on safety and customer service. • Ability to read and interpret work drawings and instructions.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber & coaxial drop cable to connect the network to customers' residences.
• Use technical expertise and customer focus to create meaningful connections with customers.
• Interpret work drawings and instructions and complete required paperwork.
• Sell and promote Kinetic products and services.
• Train new employees on daily job functions.
• Operate handheld computer to retrieve and clear job tasks.
• Perform locates on underground facilities where applicable.
