Job summary

Uniti Group Inc. is seeking a Buried Drop Technician to install buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cables from the hub to customers' homes. The role requires overnight travel when needed and involves promoting Kinetic products at the job site.

Candidates must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, work overtime as required, and hold a valid driver's license. DOT physical may be required, and safety is a priority on every assignment.

• Must be able to read and interpret basic technical information.
• Strong problem solving and numeric aptitude.
• Color vision required for color-coded cabling tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial drop cable from the network hub to the customer residence.
• Use technical and customer-facing skills to connect customers to services.
• Interpret work drawings and complete required paperwork accurately.
• Promote and upsell Kinetic products and services.
• Train new technicians on daily job responsibilities.
• Operate handheld devices to retrieve and clear job tasks and update records.
