Job summary

Clarvida is seeking a Functional Family Therapy (FFT) Therapist to work in homes and community settings in Colorado. Training to become FFT is provided; prior FFT training or certification is not required, with supervision and fidelity to the model emphasized.

You will engage youth and families, assess relationships, and help implement skills across settings. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and travel as needed is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or related behavioral health field.
• Current Colorado DORA license, candidate credential, or registration; ability to practice under supervision.
• Independent licensure preferred.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families; trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FFT through engagement, motivation, relational assessment, behavior change, and fidelity to model.
• Build balanced relationships with families; adapt engagement to culture, strengths, needs, and circumstances.
• Assess family relationships, risks, protective factors, and goals; develop safety plans with families.
• Coach and practice communication, problem solving, and parenting skills to fit family patterns.
• Assist families in applying skills across home, school, and community; plan for transition and discharge.
• Maintain clinical records, progress notes, and required documentation in EHR/FFT systems.
