Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC in New Jersey is seeking an Equipment Procurement Manager (Equipment Buyer) to own FF&E procurement for multiple store projects, from planning and quotes through purchase orders, delivery, installation, and closeout.

You will leverage data analytics to identify optimization opportunities, lead cross-functional sourcing events, and collaborate with Design, Construction, Project Management, Operations and suppliers to achieve enterprise-wide leverage and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience.
• 2+ years of supply chain experience.
• Experience with supplier or vendor relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Own FF&E procurement for multiple new store projects from planning and quotes through purchase order, delivery, installation and closeout.
• Create trackers, checklists and checkpoints to stay ahead of every project while following team standards.
• Spot risks like long-lead items or supplier delays and act before it becomes a problem.
• Track open items across internal teams and suppliers; state issues and plans clearly.
• Shift between execution, coordination and problem-solving in the same day.
• Manage quotes, pricing, lead times, freight, warranties and delivery requirements.
• Build supplier partnerships that hold up under pressure.
• Work with Design, Construction, Project Management, Operations, Strategic Sourcing and suppliers.
• Use data to identify risks, trends and savings opportunities.
