Job summary

SIFF, a Seattle-based nonprofit, is seeking a Festival Programming Assistant to support the Festival Programming Department. You will handle day-to-day administrative tasks and liaise with internal and external partners to ensure seamless planning for the Seattle International Film Festival.

The role runs from November 2, 2026 to May 28, 2027, in a hybrid work arrangement with onsite presence at SIFF offices.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years experience with data entry.
• Proficient using Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Prior experience in some aspects of Film Festivals.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Demonstrated commitment to racial equity and social justice.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry for festival programming records and submissions.
• Coordinate SIFF 2027 scheduling materials and pre-show details.
• Input and track submissions, FilmFreeway access, discount codes, and film data.
• Organize jury members and travel arrangements; prepare schedules and awards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Programming Department.
