Job summary

SIFF, a Seattle-based nonprofit, seeks a Festival Producer to oversee the operational planning and execution of the Seattle International Film Festival and NFFTY. You will manage venues, events, and staffing for two major festivals, balancing administrative duties with onsite event management.

You will lead a team of seasonal staff, coordinate hiring of 80+ personnel, monitor budgets, and ensure contracts align with SIFF policies. Strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in event or festival production, multi-event portfolio.
• 5+ years leading and mentoring a high-performing team.
• 3+ years managing volunteers or interfacing directly with a volunteer program.
• 5+ years in customer service.
• 3+ years working in film festivals.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end program execution for SIFF's two festivals.
• Lead logistical planning, including venue selection and design, ticketing, scheduling, and staffing
• Manage program budgets with Director of Finance and ensure expenditures comply with SIFF policy.
• In conjunction with Director of Finance, ensure venue contracts follow SIFF policy.
• Mentor seasonal staff and coordinate hiring of 80+ staff.
• Maintain regular forms and standards of communication and accountability.
• Autonomously balance administrative work and onsite event management.
• Prepare post-festival evaluation and report.
