Job summary

Pixel Care is seeking a Pharmacy Data Specialist to join our Cedar Knolls, NJ office. You will review prescriptions, enter detailed order information, and perform benefits analysis to support timely processing.

You’ll work closely with pharmacists and Patient Care Coordinators to ensure accurate, complete records while navigating privacy and security policies. This full-time, on-site role requires flexibility for shift rotations.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years’ experience in pharmacy operations or prescription processing.
• Active New Jersey pharmacy technician registration.
• Willingness to obtain Texas registration and additional states as needed.
• Experience reviewing prescription information and benefits analysis.
• Experience with pharmacy benefits/insurance verification.
• Attention to detail for high-volume data entry.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems or electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Review and process prescriptions and order information via fax, email, and other channels.
• Enter patient, prescription, dosage, supply, and related data into pharmacy systems.
• Check for completeness and flag missing or unclear information.
• Perform benefits analysis and enter insurance information.
• Confirm key information before orders move in workflow.
• Route non-prescription documents to the appropriate team.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and Patient Care Coordinators to resolve questions.
• Monitor order status and communicate updates to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient records with privacy and security compliance.
• Prioritize workloads based on urgency and accuracy.
• Identify recurring intake issues and escalate as needed.
