Job description

At Pixel, we’re on a mission to connect a fragmented healthcare system through a unified fertility management and support platform. We bring patients, providers, and pharmacies together, so information flows freely, questions are answered, and treatment is supported every step of the way.

We believe patients deserve more than prescriptions – they deserve guidance, education, and compassionate support throughout their fertility journey. That’s why we’re building a platform that empowers patients while connecting them with the healthcare professionals, resources, and community they need to feel informed and supported.

About the Role

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized Pharmacy Data Specialist to join our growing team in Cedar Knolls, NJ.

In this role, you’ll review prescription and patient information received through multiple channels, confirm key order information is complete, perform benefits analysis, and accurately enter information into our pharmacy systems. You’ll also help manage the flow of incoming documentation, identifying materials that fall outside of the prescription intake process and routing them to the appropriate team.

As an important part of our patient care operations, you’ll work closely with pharmacists and Patient Care Coordinators to keep orders moving efficiently and ensure the information our teams rely on is accurate, complete, and appropriately documented.

This is a full-time, on‑site position based in our Cedar Knolls, NJ office, reporting directly to the Data Manager. The position works Monday through Friday and requires flexibility to work rotational shifts from 8 am to 4:30 pm and 11:30 am to 8:00 pm ET, with participation in a Saturday rotation from 9 am to 3 pm, as needed.

What You’ll Do:
  • Review and process incoming prescriptions and order information received by fax, email, and other approved channels.
  • Accurately and efficiently enter patient, prescription, medication, dosage, supply, and other required order information into pharmacy systems.
  • Review prescription information for completeness and identify missing, inconsistent, or unclear information requiring additional review by the appropriate team member.
  • Perform benefits analysis and enter applicable insurance and coverage information to support order processing.
  • Confirm key prescription and order information is accurately captured before orders advance through the pharmacy workflow.
  • Identify incoming documents that are not prescriptions or do not belong within the order intake workflow and route them promptly to the appropriate department or team member.
  • Partner with pharmacists and Patient Care Coordinators to resolve questions, address incomplete information, and support timely order processing.
  • Maintain awareness of order status and turnaround expectations, helping ensure Patient Care Coordinators and pharmacists have the information needed to keep patients appropriately updated.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient records while following established privacy, security, and pharmacy procedures.
  • Prioritize incoming work based on urgency, completeness, and established workflow expectations while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Identify recurring intake issues, documentation gaps, or workflow concerns and escalated them appropriately.
Who You Are:
  • A detail-oriented professional who values accuracy and takes pride in getting the details right.
  • A collaborative team player who values open communication and shared success.
  • A thoughtful problem‑solver who asks questions and knows when to seek additional support.
  • A curious learner who looks for opportunities to grow and improve how work gets done.
What You’ll Bring:
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum two years’ experience in pharmacy operations, prescription processing, pharmacy data entry, or a related pharmacy environment.
  • Active pharmacy technician registration in New Jersey.
  • Eligibility and willingness to obtain a pharmacy technician registration in Texas, and additional states as business needs require.
  • Experience reviewing and processing prescription information, including medications, dosage, directions, quantities, and related supplies.
  • Experience with pharmacy benefits, insurance verification, or benefits analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately manage and enter a high volume of patient and prescription information.
  • Experience working with pharmacy management systems, electronic patient records, or similar pharmacy technology.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a specialty pharmacy environment.
  • PCTB Certification.
  • Fertility pharmacy experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience working in a fast‑paced, technology‑enabled pharmacy environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus.
