Qualifications

• Proven experience in pharmacy operations or prescription processing.
• Active TEXAS pharmacy technician registration is required.
• Eligibility to obtain New Jersey registration and other states as needed.
• Experience reviewing prescription information and benefits analysis.

Responsibilities

• Review and process prescriptions received by fax, email, and other channels.
• Enter patient, prescription, dosage, and order data into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Check information for completeness and resolve missing or unclear data.
• Enter insurance and coverage details to support processing.
• Verify information before orders move along the workflow.
• Route non-prescription documents to the appropriate team promptly.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and Patient Care Coordinators to resolve questions.
• Maintain patient records with privacy and security compliance.
• Prioritize incoming work based on urgency and accuracy.
• Identify recurring issues and escalate as needed.
