Job summary

IVI RMA North America in Clive, IA is seeking an Andrology Laboratory Technician to follow laboratory procedures for specimen handling, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results. Attention to detail is essential for accurate fertility assessment and management.

This role supports 30–40 hours per week through year-end with shifts typically from early morning to late afternoon. A comprehensive benefits package is included after meeting minimum weekly hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a chemical, biological, clinical laboratory science or related field is required.
• Minimum 6 months’ laboratory training toward degree or experience in a clinical or research lab is preferred.
• Candidates must be comfortable performing phlebotomy, and previous blood draw experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows the laboratory’s procedures for specimen handling and processing, reporting and maintaining records of patient test results.
• Maintains accurate and current records of patient reports and inventory.
• Adheres to quality control policies; documents all quality control activities, calibrations and maintenance.
• Ensures compliance with safety procedures and operating guidelines for all assigned laboratory services.
• Protects patient confidentiality and adheres to HIPAA requirements.
