Job summary

Island Fertility is seeking a Clinical Lab Tech-IVF to support diagnostic analytical work in the Andrology and Endocrinology Department. You will follow procedures and ensure quality in all laboratory tests.

Responsibilities include semen analysis and processing for insemination and IVF, semen cryopreservation, operating the blood hormone analyzer, and documenting results. NYS licensure is required; no experience is necessary, and the role is full-time.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage in all duties required for the process of all laboratory tests ensuring the highest levels of quality and service.
• Be familiar with the laboratory IT system and participate in data verification procedures for authorization and validation of laboratory results.
• Take part in effective internal and external Quality Control and Assurance.
• Responsible for performing various therapeutic processing and diagnostic tests.
• Explain test procedures to patients.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation, including computerized documentation.
• Perform daily tasks such as semen analysis, semen processing for insemination and for in vitro fertilization, semen cryopreservation, and running the blood hormone analyzer.
• Work as part of an interdisciplinary team to help individuals and families build their family.
