Job summary

CCRM Fertility in Miami, FL is seeking a Patient Access Coordinator to greet and register patients, answer phones, collect information, and provide front-office support. This full-time role reports to the Practice Administrator and helps create a positive patient experience and smooth daily operations.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least one year of administrative experience, and familiarity with Athena. Experience in reproductive medicine is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 1 year of administrative experience is required.
• Experience in reproductive medicine or women’s health is preferred.
• Prior experience with Athena is preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients upon arrival, creating a positive atmosphere.
• Scan insurance cards and picture identification, and collect relevant documents.
• Process co-pays, pre-payments, and past due balances prior to service.
• Schedule or reschedule patient appointments and communicate changes.
• Monitor the correspondence dashboard and manage return mail in Athena.
• Complete eligibility work queues and verify insurance on file.
• Protect confidential patient information and records.
• Answer phone calls, take messages, and route based on urgency.
• Distribute mail and monitor faxes to appropriate staff.
• Open the Care Center, manage lobby appearance, and secure the building at close.
