Job summary

Elanco Technology Center in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a TS/MS Scientist to support microbial fermentation and Biochemical analysis across a global portfolio. You will design and analyze scale-down experiments, drive process improvements, and contribute to product discovery while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a BS or MS in a related field and at least 1 year of lab experience. On-site at Elanco Technology Center with relocation and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S. or M.S. in Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Cell Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or similar discipline.
• Experience: 1 year of previous laboratory experience (industry or academic research).

Responsibilities

• Design, execute, analyze, evaluate and summarize experiments using scale-down models of microbial manufacturing processes and biochemical analysis.
• Identify process improvement opportunities through data collection and collaboration.
• Technically lead and manage small scale lab projects as required.
• Provide operational support to pilot plant and lab programs for team objectives.
• Write and present technical summaries and share at team and department meetings.
