Job summary

BHE Renewables in Phoenix, AZ seeks a FERC and Energy Markets Compliance Manager who will oversee compliance with FERC, NERC and RTO/ISO market rules. You will manage projects, deliverables and policy changes to ensure adherence across energy markets.

You will monitor CAISO, MISO, PJM and other markets, provide guidance to the business, supervise training, and maintain knowledge of NERC CIP with a focus on risk management and internal controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 7+ years energy industry experience with emphasis on energy markets compliance.
• Strong understanding of electric industry, energy marketing and scheduling.
• Knowledge of audit principles and compliance management processes is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Proactively analyzes policy and procedural changes based on market rules and regulations.
• Monitors energy markets, ISOs and RTOs and ensures compliance with rules and tariffs.
• Provides guidance to the business to ensure compliance with energy marketing activities.
• Coordinates cross-functional deliverables and maintains regulatory knowledge.
• Supports NERC compliance program, including procedures, evidence gathering and tracking.
