Job summary

Lightsource bp is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Analyst to support the Senior Director, Regulatory Compliance in managing U.S. regulatory obligations. You will help ensure compliance with FERC, NERC, and regional entities while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

The role emphasizes detailed process development, data collection for projects, and maintaining compliance calendars and training materials within a fast-paced renewable energy business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as business, public policy, or energy.
• 3–5 years of experience in renewable energy regulatory/compliance preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and data management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop replicable processes to complete required filings to regulators (FERC, NERC, RTO/ISO, EIA, DOE, State PSCs).
• Assess and catalog regulatory and registration obligations across the portfolio.
• Coordinate compliance documentation and maintain regulatory calendars and training materials.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Asset Management, Legal, O&M, and third parties to ensure timely compliance.
