Job summary

United Rentals, the world's largest equipment rental provider, is seeking a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing with safety and courtesy. You will communicate with dispatch and customers, ensuring proper load securement and timely service.

Responsibilities include vehicle inspections, equipment checks, site preparation, and coordinating with the Fence Installation Associate.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record; ability to drive day or night.
• 1 year of truck driving experience required; CDL preferred; DOT card before start.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Safety-focused with knowledge of safe driving procedures.
• Ability to locate utility markings and follow underground safety rules.
• Ability to operate a forklift; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, install, remove and repair temporary fencing per customer specs.
• Safely operate fencing truck; ensure load securement and proper inspections.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and tool checks.
• Restock equipment/materials for future installations as needed.
• Meet with customers to review projects and coordinate installations.
• Prepare job site for fence installation and set poles.
• Coordinate Fence Installation Associate work and inspect progress.
• Provide onsite moves and pickup/delivery of fencing as requested.
