Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing while ensuring safety and high-quality customer service. The role involves operating a fencing truck, coordinating with the team, and performing inspections and site prep for installation projects.

Ideal candidates have a valid license, 1 year of driving experience (CDL preferred), and a safety-first mindset.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record; CDL preferred.
• Minimum 1 year truck driving experience; DOT medical card required.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.
• Strong safety focus and ability to follow underground utility safety procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and move heavier with assistance.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Safely operate a fencing truck daily and ensure load securement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and tools.
• Prepare customer job sites for fence installation and set poles and fences.
• Coordinate work and supervise Fence Installation Associate.
• Provide onsite moves and delivery/pickup of fencing equipment.
• May operate forklift for loading/unloading as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by Reliable OnSite Services.
