Job summary

United Rentals, the world’s largest equipment rental provider, seeks a Fence Installation Driver for Reliable Onsite Services. You will deliver, install, remove and repair temporary fencing, ensuring safe, timely work and clear communication with dispatch and customers.

Responsibilities include inspecting trucks and tools, loading materials, coordinating with the Fence Installation Associate, and performing site preparation and installation to customer specifications.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; DOT medical card before starting.
• 1 year of truck driving experience preferred; CDL may be required.
• 2 years fencing or construction experience preferred.
• Ability to locate underground utility markings and follow safety rules.
• Forklift operation training may be provided on site.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a fencing truck daily and secure loads.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Check tools for safe operation before use.
• Load truck with equipment/materials and restock as needed.
• Meet with customers to review fencing projects before installation.
