Job summary

United Rentals is seeking a Fence Installation Driver to deliver, install, remove, and repair temporary fencing and related equipment. You will provide excellent customer service, coordinate with dispatch, and ensure safety throughout all installation activities.

The role requires operating a fencing truck, performing vehicle and tool inspections, and working in various weather conditions. A high school diploma and valid license are required; CDL preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency is required.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record; CDL license preferred.
• DOT medical card must be obtained prior to starting employment.
• 2 years fencing/construction experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety guidelines and procedures.
• Operate fencing truck safely and ensure load securement.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles.
• Inspect tools for safe operation and proper function.
• Ensure truck is loaded with necessary equipment for installations.
• Meet with customers to review fencing projects and provide updates.
